Resolution No. AR 2008-31 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly in support of Senate Bill 157, An Act relating to Human Trafficking and Prostitution, introduced by the 25th Legislature of the State of Alaska. Resolution No. AR 2008-32 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly authorizing the administration to negotiate security services contracts to provide for the presence of armed personnel on duty at Anchorage Municipal Assembly meetings.
Resolution No. AR 2008-33 a resolution appropriating a grant in the amount of $113,440 from the State of Alaska, Division of Alaska State Troopers and appropriating $2,390 as a contribution from the Department of Law 2008 Operating Budget Fund (101) to the State Categorical Fund (231) for administering the Anti-Gang Initiative Program. Resolution No. AR 2008-34 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly in support of the Alaska Municipal League’s efforts requesting the 25th Legislature to pass Senate Bill No. 72 entitled "An Act relating to the Community Revenue Sharing Program; and providing for an effective date".
Resolution No. AR 2008-35 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly requesting the Municipal Assessor’s Office to prepare recommended requirements for determining eligibility and application procedures in anticipation of amendments to Alaska Statute 29.45.050 and Municipal Code Chapter 12.15 allowing property tax exemption for property owned and occupied as the primary residence and permanent place of abode by the widow or widower of a member of the armed forces, killed in combat. Resolution No. AR 2008-40 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $11,834 to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231), from the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to assist in the funding of coordinated transportation services for senior citizens and persons with disabilities within the Municipality of Anchorage.
Resolution No. AR 2008-41 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $61,580 from within the Anchorage Roads and Drainage Service Area Capital Improvement Fund (441) under the Municipal Traffic Department for repair and maintenance of municipal traffic signals. Resolution No. AR 2008-42 a resolution appropriating $47,200 from a State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) Memorandum of Agreement #59838-1 with the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA), to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) under the Municipal Traffic Department for the Phase I: Anchorage Area Red Light Confirmation Light Project.
Resolution No. AR 2008-43 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska, authorizing the use of eminent domain and the acceptance of the Decisional Document for the construction of the AWWU Pump Station 10 Upgrade Project, AWWU Project No. 0000003738. Resolution No. AR 2008-44 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating a $3,037,350 contribution of BP2008 tax revenues approved in the BP2008 General Government Operating Budget from the Chugiak, Birchwood, Eagle River Rural Road Service Area (CBERRRSA) Fund 119 to the CBERRRSA Capital Improvement Program Fund 419 for road and drainage capital improvement projects within the CBERRRSA.
Resolution No. AR 2008-45 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $4,671,000 from the Equipment Maintenance Internal Service Operating Fund 601 Unrestricted Net Assets Account to the Equipment Maintenance Internal Service Capital Fund 606 to purchase vehicles, equipment, and software. Resolution No. AR 2008-46 a resolution appropriating $298,704 of revenue from the State of Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities to the State Categorical Grant Fund (231), to the Project Management & Engineering Department for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit services provided in 2008.
Resolution No. AR 2008-47 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage approving the acceptance of a Federal Transit Administration grant and appropriation of $4,253,600 to the Public Transportation Capital Fund (485) for capital and maintenance assistance, and appropriation of $296,000 of the grant and a contribution of $74,000 from the 2007 Operating Budget, Areawide General Fund (101), to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241) for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) paratransit services and transit planning. Resolution No. AR 2008-48 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly and Mayor Mark Begich supporting the 16th Annual National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive on May 10, 2008.
Resolution No. AR 2008-49 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly and Mayor Mark Begich recognizing May 9, 2008 as Police Memorial Day and an opportunity for remembering and honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community. Resolution No. AR 2008-52 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $84,888 from the State of Alaska, Department of Transportation & Public Facilities; and appropriating $1,571 as a contribution from the 2008 Anchorage Police Operating Budget, Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund (151) to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) Anchorage Police Department, for Seat Belt Enforcement.
Resolution No. AR 2008-53 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $9,927 as a grant from the State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and appropriating $181 as a contribution from the 2008 Anchorage Police Operating Budget, Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund (151) to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231), Anchorage Police Department, for the purchase of terrorism response and prevention equipment. Resolution No. AR 2008-54 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $2,285 as a federal pass-through grant from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADFG) Southeast Sustainable Salmon Fund to the State Categorical Grants Fund (Fund 231), Project Management and Engineering Department, for the Fish Passage Barriers Analysis Project - Part A.
Resolution No. AR 2008-55 a resolution approving and ratifying a one year wage and retirement benefit opener for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1547. Resolution No. AR 2008-56 a resolution approving and ratifying a one year wage and retirement benefit opener for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 302.
Resolution No. AR 2008-57 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $1,300,000 in 2007 State of Alaska reappropriated legislative grants per Senate Bill 53 to Miscellaneous Capital Project/Pass-Thru Fund (409), Project Management & Engineering, and $18,989 in short term interest to Areawide General CIP Fund (401), Department of Economic & Community Development, and $130 in short term interest to Anchorage Roads & Drainage Service Area CIP Fund (441), Project Management & Engineering, and $1,087 in short term interest to Anchorage Parks & Recreation Service Area CIP Fund (461), Project Management & Engineering. Resolution No. AR 2008-58 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $157,829 from the State of Alaska, Department of Transportation & Public Facilities; and appropriating $2,922 as a contribution from the 2008 Anchorage Police Operating Budget, Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund (151) to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) Anchorage Police Department, for Impaired Driving Enforcement.
Resolution No. AR 2008-59 a resolution authorizing the Municipality of Anchorage, Public Transportation Department to apply for and accept a Federal Transit Administration Section 5303 Metropolitan Planning Program grant, enter into a Transfer of Responsibilities Agreement in the amount of $270,186 with the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, State of Alaska, and to appropriate these funds to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) for financing of the Transit Planning Program along with $67,547 for required local matching funds from the Public Transportation Department’s 2007 Operating Budget in the amount of $57,110 and 2008 Operating Budget in the amount of $10,437 to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) for financing of the Transit Planning Program. Resolution No. AR 2008-60 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $195,705 as payment in lieu of subdivision agreement obligations for road, pedestrian and intersection improvements from Tideview Development, Inc. to the Anchorage Roads and Drainage Service Area Capital Improvement Fund (441), Project Management & Engineering Department, for improvements of Independence Drive and O’Malley Road.
