Resolution No. AR 2006-268 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $130,000 from the Upper O’Malley Limited Road Service Area (LRSA) Fund Balance (Fund 143) to the Upper O’Malley LRSA BY2006 Operating Budget (Fund 143) for year round road maintenance services and summer work projects. Resolution No. AR 2006-274 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly and Mayor Mark Begich to welcome AFN Delegates to the 41st Annual Alaska Federation of Natives Convention October 23-28 at the Egan Convention Center. Resolution No. AR 2006-275 a resolution adopting the Housing and Community Development 2007 Annual Action Plan of the Municipality of Anchorage, which constitutes the application to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), the American Dream Downpayment Initiative (ADDI) and the Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG). This resolution seeks to appropriate the annual entitlement grants from HUD, program income, and recaptured funds in the amount of $1,941,992 of 2007 CDBG entitlement, $90,000 of anticipated CDBG program income/recaptured funds, $1,008,847 of 2007 HOME entitlement, $25,488 of 2007 ADDI entitlement, and $83,168 of 2007 ESG entitlement, and to appropriate said funds to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241); and to make CDBG program awards to Alaska Legal Services, Anchorage Literacy Project, Salvation Army, and Rural Alaska Community Action Program for CDBG public service projects.
Resolution No. AR 2006-276 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly requesting changes at the Ted Stevens International Airport to accommodate airport passengers seeking service between Chugiak-Eagle River and the Airport. Resolution No. AR 2006-280 a resolution appropriating $50,000 from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to the Federal Grant Fund (241), Project Management & Engineering Department, for the Watershed Management Division’s assessment of the Rabbit Creek Watershed. Resolution No. AR 2006-281 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $80,000 of Unappropriated Restricted Contributions Revenues (9069) to the Areawide Capital Improvement Fund 401, Maintenance And Operations Department, for restroom renovation repairs at the Anchorage Senior Center.
Resolution No. AR 2006-282 a resolution in support of the Department of Neighborhoods to submit to the State of Alaska an application for a federal grant for historic surveys of Anchorage’s neighborhoods. Resolution No. AR 2006-283 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $972,806 as a grant from the State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and appropriating $20,770 as a contribution from the 2006 Anchorage Police Operating Budget, Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund (151) to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231), Anchorage Police Department, for the purchase of terrorism response and prevention equipment.
Resolution No. AR 2006-284 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $836,900 from the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services as a grant to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231), Department of Health and Human Services for the provision of Public Health Preparedness and Response for Bioterrorism. Resolution No. AR 2006-285 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and honoring Buster Hall for his persistence and commitment to the Anchorage community.

Resolution No. AR 2006-290 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly in recognition of the continuing contribution made by Fur Rendezvous in the promotion of tourism and Anchorage’s visitor industry, and supporting annual funding from the Anchorage Convention and Visitors Bureau room tax revenue to Greater Anchorage, Inc. for the Fur Rendezvous Festival. Resolution No. AR 2006-290(S) a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly in recognition of the continuing contribution made by Fur Rendezvous in the promotion of tourism and Anchorage’s visitor industry, and supporting annual funding from the Anchorage Convention and Visitors Bureau room tax revenue to Greater Anchorage, Inc. for the Fur Rendezvous Festival.
Resolution No. AR 2006-291 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly approving a conditional use for an alcoholic beverages conditional use in the B-3 District for a restaurant/eating place use per AMC 21.40.180 D.8, for City Diner, located within Minnesota Commons Subdivision, Block 1A; generally located at the southwest corner of Minnesota Drive and Benson Boulevard (Spenard Community Council) (Case 2006-140). Resolution No. AR 2006-292 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly consenting to the location of the Providence Health System Project of the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority.
Resolution No. AR 2006-293 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly remembering the life and contributions of Helen D. Mason to her beloved Fairview Neighborhood and the City of Anchorage. Resolution No. AR 2006-294 a resolution adopting an alternative allocation method for the FY07 Shared Fisheries Business Tax Program and certifying that this allocation method fairly represents the relative distribution of significant effects of fisheries business activity in the Cook Inlet Fisheries Management Area.
Resolution No. AR 2006-295 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly appropriating the sum of $8,740 from the Bureau of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice and $150 as a contribution from the Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund (151), Anchorage Police Department 2006 Operating Budget to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241) Anchorage Police Department for the Bullet Proof Vest Partnership Program. Resolution No. AR 2006-296 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $46,455 from Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) as a supplemental grant to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231), the Department of Neighborhoods to fund the Weatherization Assistance Program.
