Resolution No. AR 2005-118 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing May 2005 as National Bike Month and encouraging citizens to get outside and ride a bicycle safely to work and for play. Resolution No. AR 2005-119 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly and Mayor Mark Begich to name the trail at Baxter Bog the “Alicia Iden Nature Trail” in honor of her outstanding contributions and dedication to community service.

Resolution No. AR 2005-122 a resolution of the Anchorage Assembly authorizing the Municipal Administration to amend existing security services contracts to provide the presence of armed personnel assigned to duty at regular public meetings of the Anchorage Assembly. Resolution No. AR 2005-123 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage providing for the appropriation of $5,550 of Anchorage Library Foundation and citizens’ donations to the Miscellaneous Operational Grants Fund (261) to the Office of Economic and Community Development, for the purchase of library books and materials.
Resolution No. AR 2005-124 a resolution appropriating $47,000 from a Transfer of Responsibilities Agreement (TORA) with the Sate of Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) and the Municipality of Anchorage to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) under the Municipal Traffic Department for Bicycle/Pedestrian Transportation Coordination. Resolution No. AR 2005-125 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $288,739 from the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) for the Traffic Department, Traffic Engineering Division, Signal Operations Section for the Traffic Control and Signalization Project.
Resolution No. AR 2005-126 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $125,337 from the Federal Office for Domestic Preparedness through the Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and a contribution of $4,530 from the Anchorage Fire Service Area Fund (131), Anchorage Fire Department 2005 Operating Service Area Fund (131), Anchorage Fire Department 2005 Operating Budget, to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231), Anchorage Fire Department, for the purchase of terrorism response equipment. Resolution No. AR 2005-127 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and honoring Martha Anderson for her service to the Municipality of Anchorage as Manager of the Child and Adult Care Licensing Program.

Resolution No. AR 2005-131 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly approving an alcoholic beverages conditional use in the B-2A District for a new theatre beverage dispensary use per AMC 21.40.150 D.13 for the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, located on Lot 1, Block 52A, Original Townsite Subdivision; site address being 621 W. Sixth Avenue, generally located between West Fifth Avenue and West Sixth Avenue between “G” Street and “F” Street (Downtown Community Council) (Case 2005-069).
Resolution No. AR 2005-132 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly directing the Parks and Recreation Department to accept the Alaska Tennis Association’s offer to conduct the Municipality’s summer tennis tournaments. Resolution No. AR 2005-133 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly appropriating $1,239,350 from the Eagle River-Chugiak Parks and Recreation Service Area Fund (162), Office of Economic & Community Development Division’s Eagle River-Chugiak Parks, Recreation, and Community Development Division’s 2005 Operating Budget, as a contribution to the Eagle River-Chugiak Parks and Recreation Area Capital Improvement Project Fund (462) for capital improvements.
Resolution No. AR 2005-134 a resolution to establish the delinquent dates for the first and second half of yearly business personal and personal property tax payments for Tax Year 2005, Finance. Resolution No. AR 2005-135 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $10,000 as a donation from ConocoPhillips to the established account in the Miscellaneous Operational Grants Fund (261) to support the Trails Watch Program.
Resolution No. AR 2005-136 a resolution of the Anchorage Assembly approving the Heritage Land Bank 2005 Work Program and 2006-2010 Five-Year Management Plan. Resolution No. AR 2005-137 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriation $200,000 from the State Categorical Grants Fund 231 to the Equipment Maintenance CIP Fund 601/606 and authorizing the purchase of a waterless sweeper for use in the development of air quality PM10 best management practices program within the Municipality of Anchorage.
Resolution No. AR 2005-138 a resolution authorizing the Municipality of Anchorage, Public Transportation Department to file for a Federal Transit Administration Section 5303 Metropolitan Planning Program grant, enter into a Transfer of Responsibilities Agreement in the amount of $229,343 with the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, State of Alaska, and to appropriate these funds along with $57,336 for required local matching funds from the Public Transportation Department’s 2005 Operating Budget to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) for financing of the Transit Planning Program. Resolution No. AR 2005-139 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and commending Breanne Gaines for her heroic life-saving actions on May 30, 2005 during a tragic home fire.
Resolution No. AR 2005-140 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly ratifying Executive Order 2005-06 an executive order re-naming East 101st Avenue to East 102nd Avenue. Resolution No. AR 2005-141 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and honoring Janet Boshears for her 21 years of distinguished service to the Municipality of Anchorage in the Treasury Division.

Resolution No. AR 2005-143 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $120,000 from Anchorage Parks and Recreation Service Area Fund (161) Balance to Anchorage Parks and Recreation Department for a loan to Youth Exploring Adventure, Inc., for operation of Hilltop Ski Area and authorizing amendments to the Hilltop Ski Area lease agreement.
Resolution No. AR 2005-143(S) a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $120,000 from Anchorage Parks and Recreation Service Area Fund (161) Balance to Anchorage Parks and Recreation Department for a loan to Youth Exploring Adventure, Inc., for operation of Hilltop Ski Area and authorizing amendments to the Hilltop Ski Area lease agreement. Resolution No. AR 2005-144 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and honoring Ruby Ketola for her 30 years of service with the Municipality of Anchorage.
Resolution No. AR 2002-145 a resolution approving the purposes and activities of CIVICVentures, a Non-Profit Corporation, and an interim financing loan to CIVICVentures for the purpose of financing the costs of a new civic and convention center and related facilities. Resolution No. AR 2005-146 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly supporting the Mayor’s Taskforce on Obesity and Health and their task to study the many aspects, causes, and impacts of obesity and develop a ten-year plan to reduce obesity in the Municipality of Anchorage.
