Resolution No. AR 2002-383 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $14,405,668 as a grant award to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231), Department of Health and Human Services, from the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development to fund the Child Care Assistance Program. Resolution No. AR 2002-384 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $232,322 to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) from the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development for statewide projects multiple program-year adjustments for the Adult and Youth programs within the Planning Department.
Resolution No. AR 2002-385 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and honoring Lieutenant Daniel K. Cole for his 20 years of service with the Anchorage Police Department. Resolution No. AR 2002-393 a resolution appropriating $180,000 of HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) grant program income from the recovery of United State Housing and Urban Development grant HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) loans, and appropriating said funds to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241).
Resolution No. AR 2002-394 a resolution appropriating annual entitlement grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and anticipated program income in the amounts of $2,283,000 of entitlement and $180,000 of anticipated program income for the Community Block Grant (CDBG), $1,071,000 of entitlement for the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), and $80,000 of entitlement for Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG), and appropriating said funds to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241). Resolution No. AR 2002-395 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $50,000 as a grant to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241), Department of Health and Human Services, from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to develop a Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps.
Resolution No. AR 2002-396 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $87,940 from the State of Alaska, Department of Community and Economic Development, to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) for continuing implementation of the Anchorage Coastal Management Program. Resolution No. AR 2002-397 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly appropriating the sum of $2,500 to the Areawide General Fund (101), Mayor’s Office, from Phillips Petroleum Company for the September 11th Memorial Event at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.

Resolution No. AR 2002-402 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $268,000 from the Anchorage Roads and Drainage Service Area 2002 Operating Budget (Fund 141) as a contribution to the Anchorage Roads and Drainage Service Area Capital Improvement Program (Fund 441) for Governmental Accounting Standards Board, Statement Number 34 (GASB-34), compliance implementation. Resolution No. AR 2002-403 a resolution appropriating $237,325 of Year 2002 Special Assessment and Interest Collections and $101,553 of Fund Balance within the Special Assessment Bond Redemption Fund (899) for Special Assessment Bond Debt Service.
Resolution No. AR 2002-404 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage requesting the State of Alaska to separately fund and providing additional detail for the proposed Anchorage Coastal Trail southern extension. Resolution No. AR 2002-405 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly appropriating $393,686 from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Local Law Enforcement Block Grant and $43,743 as a contribution from the Anchorage Police Service Area Fund (151), Anchorage Police Department 2002 Operating Budget, to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241), Anchorage Police Department, for the purpose of underwriting projects to reduce crime and improve public safety.
Resolution No. AR 2002-406 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $148,000 from the Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund Balance (151) to the Anchorage Police Department’s 2002 Operating Budget. Resolution No. AR 2002-407 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly commending the President of the United States of America for his leadership in our nation’s fight against terrorism and requesting federal funding for police, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and other first responders engaged in assuring hometown, also known as “Homeland”, security for America’s cities, towns, and villages.
