Resolution No. AR 2002-353 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating funds ($30,000) from the state grant for Muldoon Town Center “Planning and Development” to the Anchorage School District for programming the community center and library of the Muldoon Middle School. Resolution No. AR 2002-354 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly appointing Michael Gatti as Assembly Counsel.
Resolution No. AR 2002-355 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly appointing Susan Lutz as Legal Secretary to Assembly Counsel. Resolution No. AR 2002-359 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $294,000 from the Federal Seized and Forfeited Monies from Categorical Fund (257), awarded from criminal narcotics cases by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, to the Police Investigation Fund (257) for use by the Anchorage Police Department. Resolution No. AR 2002-360 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $112,900 from the Areawide General Fund Balance (101), to the Department of Health and Human Services, for Indigent Defense Services.
Resolution No. AR 2002-361 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage providing for the appropriation of $5,708 from numerous citizens’ donations to the Miscellaneous Operational Grant Fund (261), Cultural and Recreational Services Department, for the purchase of library books and materials and equipment. Resolution No. AR 2002-362 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage authorizing the Heritage Land Bank (HLB) to grant a 2000 square foot easement within HLB Parcel No. 1-077, also known as Lot 3, Department of Lands Subdivision in Section 36, T15N, R2W, Seward Meridian, in Eagle River, to Matanuska Electric Association (MEA) for the purpose of providing electrical and telecommunications service to property adjoining to the south of the subject parcel.
Resolution No. AR 2002-363 a resolution authorizing the use of eminent domain and acceptance of the Decisional Document Part I & Part II for the construction of the Elmore Road Improvements Project, Huffman Road to DeArmoun Road, Projects #00-22 and #00-23. Resolution No. AR 2002-364 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly revising the 2002 General Government Operating Budget by appropriating $31,500 from Areawide General Fund (101) Balance to the Department of Assembly for the purchase of laptop computers.
Resolution No. AR 2002-365 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $6,000 as a grant to the Miscellaneous Operational Grants Fund (261), Department of Health & Human Services, from March of Dimes to fund Folic Acid Outreach Project. Resolution No. AR 2002-366 a resolution appropriating $375,430 of interest earned on the funds received from a 1997 State of Alaska SB29 Revenue Sharing for Safe Communities award from the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) as contributions to the Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund (151) and the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241), Anchorage Police Department, for police activities.
Resolution No. AR 2002-367 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage Assembly appropriating $41,000 from the Heritage Land Bank General Fund (221) to the Heritage Land Bank Capital Fund (421) for a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment of HLB Parcel No. 4-043, (the former Hollywood Vista site) located on Government Hill, and amending the 2002 General Government Capital Improvement Budget and amending the 2002-2007 General Government Capital Improvement Program Budget. Resolution No. AR 2002-368 a resolution of the Anchorage Assembly requesting the State Assessor to undertake a special review of the assessment, valuation, and taxation procedures of the Municipality of Anchorage and to recommend corrective action where needed.
Resolution No. AR 2002-369 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly appointing Carol A. Thompson as Assistant Municipal Clerk/Elections Coordinator within the Municipal Clerk’s Office. Resolution No. AR 2002-371 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $30,000 from the Girdwood Valley Service Area Fund Balance (Fund 106) as a contribution to the Girdwood Valley Service Area Capital Improvement Program (Fund 406) for road and drainage rehabilitation improvements. Resolution No. AR 2002-372 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $55,000 from the State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans’ Affairs, Division of Emergency Services (ADES), to State Categorical Grants Fund (231) to support Anchorage Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) activities.
Resolution No. AR 2002-373 a resolution authorizing the Municipality of Anchorage, Port of Anchorage, to enter into a second amendment to the Petroleum User Pipeline(s) Agreement for installation of three (3) new petroleum pipelines, grant of an easement for one (1) new pipeline, and to clarify business activities, authorized operations and environmental duties. Resolution No. AR 2002-374 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $14,405,668 as a grant award to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231), Department of Health and Human Services, from the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development to fund the Childcare Assistance Program.
Resolution No. AR 2002-375 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $917,770 from the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) for the Child Care Licensing and Approval Program in the Department of Health and Human Services. Resolution No. AR 2002-376 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $1,625,000 from the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, COPS in Schools Grant and $56,000 as a contribution from the Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Fund (151), Anchorage Police Department 2003 Operating Budget, to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241), Anchorage Police Department, for the purpose of this COPS in Schools Program.
Resolution No. AR 2002-377 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly appointing Alan Muise as Ombudsman for a two-year term to expire December 31, 2004 and determining annual salary. Resolution No. AR 2002-378 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage reducing the 2002 Dividend from the MOA Trust Fund Balance (Fund 730) from $7,000,000 to $4,700,000; and subsequently appropriating $4,700,000 from MOA Trust Reserve Fund Balance (Fund 731) as a contribution to the Areawide contribution to the Areawide General Fund (Fund 101).
Resolution No. AR 2002-379 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $29,422 to the State Grants Fund (231), Department of Public Transportation from the Alaska Commission on Aging to assist in the funding of coordinated transportation services for senior citizens within the Municipality of Anchorage. Resolution No. AR 2002-380 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $15,000 to the Federal Grants Fund (241) for costs associated with the AWARE (Anchorage is Watchful and Ready for Emergencies) Program.
Resolution No. AR 2002-381 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage endorsing development of the Hillside District Plan as a replacement for the Hillside Wastewater Management Plan, and request for State and/or Federal funding for preparation of the District Plan. Resolution No. AR 2002-382 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $500,000 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) grant to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (241) for residential substance abuse treatment for women in the Department of Health and Human Services and authorizing a contract with Alaska Women’s Resource Center (AWRC), for Substance Abuse Treatment Program Services.
