AR1999-89 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $518,000 of anticipated building permit revenue to the Department of Public Works, Building Safety Division for internet payment, staffing, and hardware and software for Phase II of the Permit Automation System. AR1999-90 , a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $298,704 of contributed revenue within the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) to the Public Works Department for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit services provided in 1999.
AR1999-91 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage providing for the acceptance and appropriation of a grant totaling $19,320 from the State of Alaska, Department of Education to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) for the Net Lender Reimbursement Program. AR1999-92 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $25,000 from the Areawide General (0101) Fund Balance to the Department of Health and Human Services to obtain a sole source contract with Gilmore & Doherty for professional legal services regarding Allvest, Inc. v. MOA and Doyon Universal Services.
AR1999-93 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $25,000 from the Areawide General (0101) Fund Balance to the Department of Finance to amend the sole source contract with Preston, Gates & Ellis to obtain a reappraisal of the Captain Cook Hotel and assist in the litigation of property tax assessment appeals filed by the Hickel Investment Company. AR1999-94 a resolution authorizing the disposal of a municipal interest within Lots 18A through 21, Lampert Subdivision, located in the vicinity of Northern Lights Blvd. and Gambell Street.
AR1999-95 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing May 15, 1999, as "Police Memorial Day". AR1999-96 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and thanking members of the Anchorage Telephone Utility Board of Directors.
AR1999-97 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing the West High School Band for the awards received at the Six Flags Over Georgia National Band Invitational. AR1999-98 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly approving a conditional use for sales of alcoholic beverages (Restaurant and Eating Place License) located on Hansen Subdivision, Block 2, Lot 3A, generally located on the south side of West 26th Avenue and west of Spenard Road (Louis Plante' d.b.a. Organic Oasis Health Foods & Juice Bar) (Case 99-090).
AR1999-99 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and honoring Theodora Jordan Watty for her nearly 15 years of service with the Municipality of Anchorage. AR1999-100 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $400,000 as a loan from the Areawide General Operating Fund (101) to the Miscellaneous Capital/Pass-Thru Capital Improvement Program Fund (409) for costs associated with the re-survey and re-plat of Rabbit Creek Heights and Rabbit Creek View Subdivisions to be repaid by the Rabbit Creek Survey Improvement District 1V96.
AR1999-100(S) a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $400,000 as a loan from the Areawide General Operating Fund (101) to the Miscellaneous Capital/Pass-Thru Capital Improvement Program Fund (409) for costs associated with the re-survey and re-plat of Rabbit Creek Heights and Rabbit Creek View Subdivisions to be repaid by the Rabbit Creek Survey Improvement District 1V96. AR1999-101 a resolution adopting the 1999 Action Plan of the Municipality of Anchorage 1995-2000 Housing and Community Development Consolidated Plan, which constitutes the application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Community Development Block Grant, the HOME Investment Partnership Program grant and the Emergency Shelter grant
AR1999-102 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly supporting and endorsing House Bill No. 178, "An Act relating to removing solid waste collection and disposal service from regulation by the Alaska Public Utilities Commission; requiring certain municipalities, and permitting other municipalities, to regulate solid waste collection and disposal service within the municipal boundaries; and providing for an effective date.". AR1999-103 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating the sum of $70,000 from the State of Alaska, Department of Public Safety, Highway Safety Planning Agency, and $6,775 as a contribution from the 1999 Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Operating Budget to the State Categorical Grants Fund (0231) for this Traffic Enforcement Program.
AR1999-104 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly to enter into an interest free loan agreement with Freedom Days Festival, Inc. to help fund Anchorage's 1999 Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration. AR1999-105 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly supporting amendments to Alaska Statutes governing the use of marijuana for medical purposes
AR1999-106 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly supporting State Legislation which provides a manner and method of Alaska Public Utilities Commission deregulation which provides the Anchorage ratepayers protection from increased costs of services together with safe and reliable service and taxpayers protection from a loss of value of the taxpayers' investment. AR1999-107 a resolution supporting full funding of the Safe Communities and Revenue Sharing Program.
AR1999-108 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage providing for the appropriation of $32,000 to the Miscellaneous Operational Grants Fund (261) from Alaskans for Litter Prevention and Recycling for the Municipal Community Work Service Program. AR1999-109 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $51,040,000 of proceeds of General Obligation Bonds to the Areawide CIB Fund (401), Anchorage Fire Service Area CIB Fund (431), Anchorage Roads and Drainage Service Area CIB Fund (441), Anchorage Parks and Recreation Service Area CIB Fund (461), and the Eagle River-Chugiak Parks and Recreation Service Area CIB Fund (462) to pay the costs of public safety, cemetery, fire protection, road, storm drainage, parks and recreation and related capital improvement projects; and contributing $712,500 from the Anchorage Roads and Drainage Service Area CIB Fund (441), $484,500 from the Anchorage Parks and Recreation Service Area CIB Fund (461), and $100,000 from the Eagle River-Chugiak Parks and Recreation Service Area CIB (462) to the Equipment Maintenance Internal Service Fund (601) for the purchase of Street Maintenance vehicles, Parks and Recreation vehicles and equipment.
AR1999-110 a resolution approving the Winchester Water Main Extension (Intertie) at East 88th Avenue and Abbott Loop Road and providing for assessment of benefited properties at time of service connection. AR1999-111 a resolution approving the Kluane Terrace Phase II Water Main Extension and providing for assessment of benefited properties at time of service connection.
AR1999-112 a resolution confirming and levying assessments for the water special improvements within Carroll Water Improvement District 425, setting date of payment and providing for penalties and interest in the event of delinquency. AR1999-113 a resolution confirming and levying assessments for the water special improvements within Levy Upon Connection (LUC) Roll 99-W-1, setting date of payment and providing for penalties and interest in the event of delinquency.
AR1999-114 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage accepting when tendered $250,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program grant, and $8,334 from the Alaska State Department of Transportation and Public Facilities grant; and appropriating said grants and $8,334 from Airport Retained Earnings to Merrill Field's Capital Improvement Fund for acquisition of snow removal equipment. AR1999-115 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $1,423,900 of 1999 tax revenues from the CBERRRSA Fund (0119) to the Chugiak, Birchwood, Eagle River Rural Road Service Area (CBERRRSA) Capital Improvement Program Mill Levy Fund (0419) for road and drainage capital improvement projects.
AR1999-116 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage providing for the appropriation of $750 to the State Categorical Grants Fund (231) from the State of Alaska for the Municipal Youth at Risk Bike Rodeo and Safety Program. AR1999-117 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $10,000 to the Miscellaneous Operational Grants Fund (261) from AT&T Alascom for the "Good News, Great Kids" Program.
