AR1999-1 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly approving a conditional use for sales of alcoholic beverages (Beverage Dispensary Duplicate Liquor License) located on Lampert Subdivision, Block 3, Lot 34 and the N 75' of Lots 32 & 33, generally located on the southeast corner of East Fireweed Lane and Fairbanks Street (Steven Fibranz d.b.a. Steve=s Sports Bar and Grill) (Case 99-010). AR1999-2 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska, accepting a State of Alaska, Department of Environmental Conservation Underground Storage Tanks Financial Assistance Program grant in the amount of $26,977.31 and appropriating said grant to the Anchorage Wastewater Utility's Capital Improvement Fund for the removal and clean up of underground storage tanks located at 3000 Arctic Boulevard.
AR1999-3 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and honoring Samuel G. Cornell for his 21 years of service with the Municipality of Anchorage. AR1999-4 a resolution of the Anchorage Assembly accepting and appropriating $742,500 as a grant from the United States Department of Justice to the Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area Capital Improvement Program Fund (0451) for costs related to implementation of Mobile Data Technology in-Car Computer System.
AR1999-5 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska, accepting and appropriating an Alaska Clean Water Fund loan offer in the amount of $1,410,000 for financing a portion of the costs of FY99 Miscellaneous Small Sewer Replacement and Rehabilitation (R&R), Phase I. AR1999-6 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage deleting, accepting, and appropriating State of Alaska legislative grants to the Municipality of Anchorage for the Anchorage School District per Senate Bill 231.
AR1999-7 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage accepting and appropriating $7,338 from a private donation to the Anchorage Parks and Recreation Capital Improvement Program Fund (0461) for capital improvements to the Town Square Fountain. AR1999-8 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $13,323 to the State Categorical Grants Fund (0231) from the Alaska Commission on Aging to assist in the funding of coordinated transportation services for senior citizens and for people with disabilities within the Municipality of Anchorage.
AR1999-9 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $50,000 from the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services to the State Categorical Grants Fund (0231) for the Child Care Licensing Program in the Department of Health and Human Services. AR1999-10 a resolution authorizing the disposal of municipal interests within numerous properties managed by Eklutna, Inc. located from Eagle River to Eklutna Lake.
AR1999-11 , a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and honoring Sgt. Mike Grimes, upon his retirement, for his 26 years of service with the Anchorage Police Department and to the Anchorage Community. AR1999-12 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly recognizing and honoring Sam Oliveri as a "City Hero".
AR1999-13 a resolution of the Anchorage Assembly setting a public hearing on January 26, 1999 to consider and determine whether to protest the transfer of ownership of the beverage dispensary license of Debco, Inc. (Debbie Chen/George King) d/b/a The Irish Setter, located at 1911 East Fifth Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska to Debco, Inc. (Kathy & Carol Hartman/Jack Griffin). AR1999-14 a resolution determining whether to protest the transfer of ownership of the beverage dispensary license of Debco, Inc. AR1999-16 , a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage providing for the appropriation of a grant totaling $5,000 from the Ramuson Foundation to the Miscellaneous Operational Grants Fund (0261) for the purchase of library books for the Loussac Children's Literature Collection.
AR1999-17 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $62,770 from the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services to the State Categorical Grants Fund (0231) for a tobacco sales to minor enforcement project. AR1999-18 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage approving an access easement to Rangeview Tra-Tel, Inc. for an access corridor on the eastern boundary of Conifer Park near McCrary McCarrey Street and Glenn Highway as described in the attached document labeled Exhibit A.
AR1999-19 , a resolution authorizing the granting of a tax refund to Ralph Edwin and Patricia Anne Adams as a result of manifest clerical error on Real Property Account 015-122-43. AR1999-20 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly approving a conditional use for sales of alcoholic beverages (Beverage Dispensary Tourism License and Two Beverage Dispensary Tourism Duplicate Licenses) located on Anchorage Original Townsite, Block 95, generally located between West 8th and West 9th Avenues and between "L" and "M" Streets (John Blomfield d.b.a. Benhihana & Hawthorne Suites) (Case 99-019).
AR1999-21 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $10,000 to the Miscellaneous Operational Grants Fund (0261) from Providence Health System/Alaska to be used to supplement the professional services contract with Patrick Consulting Service for the Senior Study being conducted under the auspices of the Senior Citizens Advisory Commission, Department of Health and Human Services. AR1999-22 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $18,900 from the Anchorage Metropolitan Police Service Area (0151) Fund Balance to the Anchorage Police Department; $10,500 from the Fire Service Area (0131) Fund Balance to the Anchorage Fire Department; and $600 from the Areawide General (0101) Fund Balance to the Anchorage Fire Department to fund contract for legal services to assist in the appeal of Gallion v. AP&FRS, Case No. 3AN-98-4563.
AR1999-23 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $23,022 to the State Categorical Grants Fund (0231) from the Department of Community and Regional Affairs for the JTPA Program Incentive Program. AR1999-24 a resolution appropriating $5,000 from the fund balance of the Talus West Limited Road Service Area Fund (Fund 142) for 1998 winter snow removal and road maintenance expenditures (1998 operating budget).
AR1999-25 a resolution appropriating $10,000 from the fund balance of the Eagle River Street Lights Service Area Fund (Fund 129) for 1998 Eagle River street light maintenance and utility expenditures (1998 operating budget). AR1999-26 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage accepting and appropriating $500,000 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (0241) under the new Project Impact Program initiative; authorizing the contribution of $80,000 from the Federal Categorical Grants Fund to the Areawide General CIP Fund (0401) for additional retrofitting of the new Emergency Operations Center; and authorizing the contribution of $16,010 from the Anchorage Fire Department Areawide General Fund (0101) to the Federal Categorical Grants Fund (0241) to pay indirect administrative charges not funded by FEMA under the Project Impact Program initiative.
AR1999-27 a resolution for review and approval of the collective bargaining agreement between the Municipality of Anchorage and the Anchorage Municipal Employees Association (AMEA) for the years January 1, 1999 thru 2000. AR1999-28 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly approving a conditional use for sales of alcoholic beverages (Restaurant and Eating Place License) located on Highland Subdivision, Block 1, Lot 6, generally located on the west side of Old Seward Highway and south of East Klatt Road (Joseph White d.b.a. Uncle Joe's Pizzeria) (Case 99-030).
AR1999-29 a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly supporting certain amendments to Alaska Statute 29.45.050(o) regarding tax exemption and deferral for deteriorated property. AR1999-30 a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $75,000 from the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities and $25,000 from the Alaska Railroad Corporation for the development of the Girdwood Transportation and Commercial Area Master Plans.
