NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY PUBLIC HEARING:
The Assembly of the Municipality of Anchorage will hold a public hearing on the following legislation at its regular meeting of September 25, 2018. The public hearing portion of the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and is held in the Assembly Chambers, Z.J. Loussac Library, 3600 Denali:
Ordinance No. AO 2018-74, an ordinance of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly amending Anchorage Municipal Code Title 7, Purchasing, Contracts and Professional Services, to require that municipal construction projects in excess of $3,500,000 be reviewed for a Community Workforce Agreement requirement before soliciting bids or proposals, and related matters, Assembly Member Traini and Mayor Berkowitz.
Resolution No. AR 2018-268, a resolution appropriating $200,000 from the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services to the State Direct/Federal Pass-Thru Grants Fund (231900), for the Aging and Disability Resource Center in the Department of Health and Human Services.
Resolution No. AR 2018-269, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $3,205,500 from the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services as a grant to the State Direct/Federal Pass-Thru Grants Fund (231900) and the Disease Prevention and Control Cost Center (245000) for the provision of Public Health Nursing Services in the Department of Health and Human Services.
Resolution No. AR 2018-271, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $106,470 from the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services as a grant award to the State Direct/Federal Pass Thru Grants Fund (231900) for the provision of HIV Prevention Work, in the Department of Health and Human Services.
Resolution No. AR 2018-273, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $160,000 from the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services, as a grant to the State Direct/Federal Pass-Thru Grants Fund (231900) for Family Planning Services in the Department of Health and Human Services.
Resolution No. AR 2018-274, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $455,954 from the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services as a grant to the State Direct/Federal Pass-Thru Grants Fund (231), for the provision of Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response in the Department of Health and Human Services.
Resolution No. AR 2018-275, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $1,554,619 from the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services as a grant to the State Direct/Federal Pass-Thru Grants Fund (231900) for the provision of Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Services, by the Department of Health and Human Services for the Municipality of Anchorage WIC Program. P.H. 9-25-2018.
Resolution No. AR 2018-276, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $826,231 as a grant from the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services and $242,982 as a contribution from the 2018 General Government Operating Budget, Department of Health and Human Services Areawide General Fund (101000) all to the State Direct/Federal Pass-Thru Grant Fund (231), to fund the Human Services Community Matching Grant Program in the Department of Health and Human Services.
Resolution No. AR 2018-270, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) appropriating of grant, when tendered, $114,648.02 from the State of Alaska (SOA), Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), to the State Dir/Fed Pass-Thru Grants Fund (231900), for a Transfer of Responsibilities Agreement (TORA) Amendment for the Anchorage Metropolitan Area Transportation Solutions (AMATS): Safe Routes to School Program Grant in the Planning Department.
Resolution No. AR 2018-263, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding the new Restaurant/Eating Place Liquor License #5710 with Restaurant Designation Permit for Miso Sushi Restaurant, LLC DBA Miso Sushi located at 1111 E Dimond Blvd., Anchorage AK, 99515 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Taku/Campbell Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft and Assembly Community and Economic Development.
Resolution No. AR 2018-264, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding the Transfer of Controlling Interest of Restaurant/Eating Place Liquor License #3077 with Restaurant Designation Permit for Panda Restaurant, Inc. DBA Panda Restaurant located at 605 E Northern Lights Blvd., Anchorage AK, 99503 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Midtown Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft and Assembly Community and Economic Development Committee Chair Weddleton.
Resolution No. AR 2018-277, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly supporting efforts to daylight Fish Creek, also known by the Dena’ina People as Ch’atanaltsegh Łiq'aka Betnu, and encouraging the ongoing and future projects to restore, protect and enhance daylighting of Fish Creek, Assembly Members Croft and Quinn-Davidson.
Resolution No. AR 2018-279, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $245,527.76 from the Areawide General Fund (101000) Fund Balance, as a contribution to the Areawide General Capital Improvement Projects Fund (401800) all within the Public Works Administration Department for Special Assessment District 18-04 for construction of a gas line serving the Canyon Road Area, Finance Department.
