NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY PUBLIC HEARING: 

The Assembly of the Municipality of Anchorage will hold a public hearing on the following legislation at its regular meeting of October 9, 2018.  The public hearing portion of the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and is held in the Assembly Chambers, Z.J. Loussac Library, 3600 Denali: 

Ordinance No. AO 2018-47, an ordinance of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly to reauthorize certain boards and commissions by amending the sunset provision in Anchorage Municipal Code Sections 4.40.020, 4.60.030, 4.60.040, 4.60.060, 4.60.100, 4.60.110, 4.60.160, 4.60.200, 4.60.240, and 4.60.275, Assembly Chair Dunbar. 

Ordinance No. AO 2018-82, an ordinance authorizing ADS-B Technologies, LLC, to relinquish their leasehold interest in Lot 14, Block 10, by amendment; and authorizing the Municipality of Anchorage to enter into a long term lease with ADS-B Technologies, LLC, as lessee, for a portion of Lot 1A, Block 1, Merrill Field Replat, located between Orca Street and Runway 16/34, Merrill Field Airport. 

Ordinance No. AO 2018-83, an ordinance authorizing the acquisition of a Public Use Easement (PUE) of approximately 13,582 square feet over a portion of Alaska Village Subdivision, Tract 15 (PID 006-181-65-000) for a multi-use trail, Office of Economic and Community Development. 

Ordinance No. AO 2018-84, an ordinance authorizing a lease between the Anchorage Community Development Authority (Lessor) and the Municipality of Anchorage, Anchorage Police Department (Tenant) for real property and building located at 716 West 4th Avenue, legally described as Lot 3A-1 Block 40 Original Townsite of Anchorage (PID 002-105-69) (Plat 2014-21), Real Estate Department. 

Resolution No. AR 2018-289, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $200,000 when tendered, from the State of Alaska, Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and a contribution of $4,400 from Anchorage Areawide Operating Fund (101000) the Municipal Manager Department, Office of Emergency Management 2018 Operating Budget to the State Grant Revenue–Pass Thru Fund (231900) for Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) activities in the Municipal Manager Department, Office of Emergency Management. 

Resolution No. AR 2018-290, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding a Transfer of Ownership and Location for Restaurant/Eating Place Liquor License #2935 with Restaurant Designation Permit for HK, Inc. DBA Reharu located at 1231 E Dimond Blvd., Anchorage, AK 99515 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Taku/Campbell Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft and Assembly Community and Economic Development Committee Chair Weddleton. 

Resolution No. AR 2018-291, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding the Restaurant Designation Permit for Beverage Dispensary Liquor License #4350 for Coyote Santo, LLC DBA Coyote Santo located at 135 W. Dimond Blvd., Anchorage AK, 99515 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Taku/Campbell Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft and Assembly Community and Economic Development Committee Chair Weddleton.

Resolution No. AR 2018-292, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding the new General Wholesale Liquor License #5714 for The Odom Corporation DBA The Odom Corporation located at 6300 Changepoint Dr., Anchorage AK, 99518 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Taku/Campbell Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft and Assembly Community and Economic Development Committee Chair Weddleton. 

Resolution No. AR 2018-293, a resolution appropriating $1,000,000 of Port of Alaska Fund (570000) Fund Balance to the Port of Alaska Fund (570000) as a contribution and appropriating said contribution to the Areawide General Fund (101000) in the Public Transportation Department to be used for Public Transportation operating costs.   

Resolution No. AR 2018-300, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding the new General Wholesale Liquor License #5717 for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of Alaska, LLC DBA Southern Glazer’s of AK located at 6300 Changepoint Dr., Anchorage AK, 99518 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Taku/Campbell Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft and Assembly Community and Economic Development Chair Weddleton.
