NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY PUBLIC HEARINGS:
The Assembly of the Municipality of Anchorage will hold a public hearing on the following legislation at its regular meeting of October 23, 2018 and November 7, 2018. The public hearing portion of the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and is held in the Assembly Chambers, Z.J. Loussac Library, 3600 Denali:
Ordinance No. AO 2018-85, an ordinance of the Municipality of Anchorage Adopting and appropriating funds for the 2019 General Government Operating Budget for the Municipality of Anchorage, Office of Management and Budget.
Resolution No. AR 2018-297, a resolution adopting the 2019-2024 General Government Capital Improvement Program, Office of Management and Budget.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-86, an ordinance adopting the 2019 General Government Capital Improvement Budget, Office of Management and Budget.
Resolution No. AR 2018-298, a resolution adopting the 2019-2024 Six Year Fiscal Program, Office of Management and Budget.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-87, an ordinance adopting and appropriating funds for the 2019 Municipal Utilities/Enterprise Activities Operating Budgets to include Municipal Light & Power (ML&P) and Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility (AWWU) Reimbursable Projects, ML&P BRU Gas Field Fund and ML&P Contributed Plant; and the 2019 Municipal Utilities/Enterprise Activities Capital Improvement Budgets, Office of Management and Budget.
Resolution No. AR 2018-299, a resolution approving the 2019-2024 Municipal Utilities/Enterprise Activities Capital Improvement Programs, Office of Management and Budget.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-88, an ordinance adopting and appropriating funds for the 2019 Operating and Capital Budgets of Anchorage Community Development Authority, Office of Management and Budget.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-89, an ordinance authorizing the sale of substantially all assets of Municipal Light & Power (ML&P) to Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach Electric), and approving a thirty-five year Power Purchase Agreement, with option to purchase, with Chugach Electric for power generated by the Eklutna Hydroelectric Project, Department of Law.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-93, an ordinance of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly to eliminate the allocation between Services and Capital Improvements in the Eagle River-Chugiak Parks and Recreational Service Area Mill Levy under Anchorage Municipal Code section 27.30.090 with no change to the voter approved not-to-exceed Mill Rate of 1.00, Office of Management & Budget.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-94, an ordinance authorizing the disposal of real property, legally described as Lot 1 Block 41A Plateau Heights Subdivision (Plat C-54) (PID 002-154-20), Real Estate Department.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-95, an ordinance authorizing the disposal by competitive bid of real property, legally described as Tract B-1 Block 3 Alderwood Subdivision Addition No. 1 (Plat 82-156) (PID 011-012-59), Real Estate Department.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-96, an ordinance of the Anchorage Assembly amending Anchorage Municipal Code Chapter 10.80 to allow transfer of a municipal marijuana establishment license, similar to state marijuana license transfers, Assembly Members Weddleton, Demboski, and Assembly Chair Dunbar.
Resolution No. AR 2018-317, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $242,480.52 a Transfer of Responsibilities Agreement (TORA) Grant, from the State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to the Anchorage Bowl Parks and Recreation Service Area CIP Grant Fund (461900), all within the Parks and Recreation Department for funding the Chugach Foothills Connector, Phase II Project, Parks & Recreation Department.
Resolution No. AR 2018-318, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating, when tendered, $118,125 of an Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority Grant, from the State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, and appropriating $32,129 as a contribution from the 2018 Operating Budget Areawide General Fund (101000) all to the State Direct/Federal Pass-Through Grants Fund (231) for providing AnchorRIDES Transportation Service, all within the Public Transportation Department.
Resolution No. AR 2018-319, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating, when tendered, $110,120 of an Alaska Community Transit Reimbursable Grant from the State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, and appropriating $2,422 as a contribution from the Areawide General Fund (101000) all to the State Direct/Federal Pass-Through Grants Fund (231) to be used as match to Federal Transit Administration and/or Alaska Mental Health Trust Grants for transit service and preventative maintenance, within the Public Transportation Department.
Resolution No. AR 2018-321, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding the Transfer of Ownership for Restaurant/Eating Place Liquor License #4123 with Restaurant Designation Permit for Ding How, LLC DBA Ding How Mongolian BBQ located at 1241 Muldoon Rd., Anchorage AK, 99504 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Northeast Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft, and Assembly Community and Economic Development Committee Chair Weddleton.
Resolution No. AR 2018-322, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding the Transfer of Ownership for Restaurant/Eating Place Liquor License #4529 with Restaurant Designation Permit for Samurai Sushi, LLC DBA Samurai Sushi located at 1265 Muldoon Rd., Anchorage AK, 99504 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Northeast Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft, and Assembly Community and Economic Development Committee Chair Weddleton.
Resolution No. AR 2018-323, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding the Transfer of Ownership and Location of Beverage Dispensary Liquor License #4694 with Restaurant Designation Permit for Film-On Productions, LLC DBA Bear Tooth Theatrepub located at 1230 W 27th Ave., Anchorage AK, 99503 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Spenard Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft, and Assembly Community and Economic Development Committee Chair Weddleton.
Resolution No. AR 2018-324, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its protest regarding the New Beverage Dispensary-Duplicate Liquor License #5721 with Restaurant Designation Permit for Film-On Productions, LLC DBA Bear Tooth Grill located at 1230 W 27th Ave., Anchorage AK, 99503 and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Spenard Community Council), Assembly Chair Dunbar, Assembly Vice-Chair Croft, and Assembly Community and Economic Development Committee Chair Weddleton.
Resolution No. AR 2018-326, a resolution of the Anchorage Municipal Assembly stating its non-objection to the Transfer of State of Alaska Marijuana License #10747 for Great Northern Cannabis, Inc. DBA Great Northern Cannabis; and authorizing the Municipal Clerk to take certain action (Abbott Loop Community Council), Municipal Clerk's Office.
