NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY PUBLIC HEARINGS:
The Assembly of the Municipality of Anchorage will hold a public hearing on the following legislation at its regular meeting of July 17, 2018. The public hearing portion of the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and is held in the Assembly Chambers, Z.J. Loussac Library, 3600 Denali:
Ordinance No. AO 2018-54, an ordinance waiving application of Anchorage Municipal Code Subsection 1.15.130A, Restrictions on Employment After Leaving Service, for Terry Helleck, Department of Law.
Ordinance No. AO 2018-55, an ordinance authorizing a non-competitive disposal by lease of the Girdwood Fire Station, located at 186 Egloff Drive in Girdwood, for fifty-five (55) years at less than fair market value, to Girdwood Fire and Rescue Inc, a nonprofit corporation.
Resolution No. AR 2018-196, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $108,427 in the form of a reimbursable grant award from the State of Alaska Land and Water Conservation Grant Fund Program to the Anchorage Bowl Parks and Recreation Service Area Capital Improvement Fund (461900), within the Department of Parks and Recreation, the required match will be provided from the Parks and Recreation Department’s Contribution Funds (Fund 461800) and 2017 Park Bond Funds (Fund 461100) all funds will be used for the purpose of upgrading Jewel Lake Park Playground.
Resolution No. AR 2018-197, a resolution of the Municipality of Anchorage appropriating $210,084 in the form of a reimbursable grant award from the State of Alaska Land and Water Conservation Grant Fund Program to the Anchorage Bowl Parks and Recreation Service Area Capital Improvement Fund (461900), within the Department of Parks and Recreation, the required match will be provided by Parks and Recreation Bond Funds, all funds will be used for the purpose of upgrading Folker Park.
