Anchorage Municipal Code of Ethics - Recent changes to AMC 1.15 have not yet been codified.
On March 21, 2017, the Anchorage Assembly approved an ordinance repealing and reenacting the Municipal Code of Ethics. Until codification is complete, you may access the new Code through the ordinance, AO 2017-42, As Amended.
Due to the rewrite of the Municipal Code of Ethics, all forms prescribed by the Board of Ethics have been revised. Please dispose of all old forms.

(AMC 1.15.100A.) DISCLOSURE ECONOMIC INTEREST AND POTENTIAL CONFLICT OF INTEREST:
- Disclosure by the Mayor of Potential Conflict of Interest Form - New.
- Disclosure of Economic interest in a Municipal Contract or Business by a Public Servant Form - Pending final review by the Board of Ethics.
The New Ethics Code defines public servant to include employees, board members, and elected officials. Further, AMC 1.15.030 defines the following:
A. Employees - all employees of the Municipality of Anchorage, including employees of a corporate authority owned by the Municipality and employees of the Anchorage School District.
B. Board Members - members of the public appointed to serve on a municipal authority, board, or commission and board members of limited road service areas whether elected or appointed.
C. Elected Officials - Assembly members, Mayor, School Board members, and board members of general service areas.

- Disclosure by an Elected Official of a Gift in Excess of $500 Received for an Event Related to Official Government Business, Education, or Information Gathering Form - New.
