What is HOME?

HOME, HUD's HOME Investment Partnerships Program, provides grant and loan funding for affordable housing. The Community Development Division is responsible of allocating HOME funds to various projects.

  • AnCHOR (Anchorage Community Homeowners Resource): Helps low- to moderate- income families with assistance for homeownership.  The Program assists firstime homeowners by funding a portion of the downpayment and closing costs.
  • ADDI (American Dream Down Payment Initiative):
  • Housing First Production (1 and 4 Bedroom Units)
  • CHDO Housing Production Projects
  • AHI CHDO Demonstration Program
  • Housing Acquisition and Rehab Program (HARP)
  • Manufactured Housing- Fresh Start
