What is HOME?
HOME, HUD's HOME Investment Partnerships Program, provides grant and loan funding for affordable housing. The Community Development Division is responsible of allocating HOME funds to various projects.
- AnCHOR (Anchorage Community Homeowners Resource): Helps low- to moderate- income families with assistance for homeownership. The Program assists firstime homeowners by funding a portion of the downpayment and closing costs.
- ADDI (American Dream Down Payment Initiative):
- Housing First Production (1 and 4 Bedroom Units)
- CHDO Housing Production Projects
- AHI CHDO Demonstration Program
- Housing Acquisition and Rehab Program (HARP)
- Manufactured Housing- Fresh Start
