Municipality of Anchorage - Absentee Voting By Mail

Applications for Absentee by Mail must be received by the Office of the Municipal Clerk

no later than March 25, 2008 by 5:00pm.

Ballots will be mailed beginning Monday, March 17, 2008.

If you have applied for a ballot by mail before the deadline

and have not received it by Monday March 31, 2008 call our office 343-4311.

If you are unable to go to the polls on Election Day for any reason you may vote a by mail ballot.

To receive an absentee by mail ballot you must first complete and sign the Application for Absentee by Mail.
To get an application for Absentee by Mail:

Type your information in each field, print the document, provide your identifier, sign and mail your application to the Municipality of Anchorage, Office of the Municipal Clerk, PO Box 196650, Anchorage, AK 99519-6650.

2. Call the the Municipal Clerk's Office at 343-4376 or 343-4311 to have an application emailed, faxed or mailed to you. You may fax your application to 907-343-4313 or mail your application to the Municipality of Anchorage, Office of the Municipal Clerk, PO Box 196650, Anchorage, Alaska 99519-6650.
